2. The epic of Gilgamesh
Ten years ago, a tsunami destroyed a coastal fishing village, but a mysterious power saved most of the villagers. Under its protection, they quickly rebuilt their homes. Due to their prolonged time adrift at sea, they constructed a floating city made entirely of boats, believing it to be the safest option. Every boat-like building is connected by ropes, rope ladders, and rotating bridges, forming a drifting city that has gradually faded from the world's memory, becoming a legendary presence on the sea.
The floating city is self-sufficient and functions like a regular city, with residential areas, hospitals, schools, libraries, and fishing zones. Its structure is highly flexible, allowing for adjustments in connections. A rotating bridge system, similar to the moving staircases in Harry Potter, enables dynamic connectivity between boats. Additionally, a soft protective layer is added to the exterior of the boats to minimize damage in case of collisions.
